H. MARK BURCK, Shareholder
Mr. Burck received his B.S./B.A. in Finance from the University
of Florida in 1982, and his J.D. from Southern Methodist
University in 1986, where he was president of the Student
Bar Association.
Mr. Burck practices primarily in personal
injury, including defense of individuals and corporations
on behalf of liability carriers, and coverage-related opinions
and litigation. Mr. Burck's primary area of practice is
transportation cases, including truck drivers and truck
companies, those involved in interstate commerce and local
carriers. He also has significant experience in cases involving
carnivals and other family entertainment establishments,
like water parks and go-cart arcades. He is thoroughly familiar
with medical, bio-mechanical, and accident reconstruction
issues.
Mr. Burck is Board Certified in Personal
Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization
and Board Certified in Civil Trial Advocacy by the National
Board of Trial Advocacy. He is “AV” rated (the
highest rating available by Martindale-Hubbell). He is a
member of TIDA (Trucking Industry Defense Association).
