In addition to arguments before the Supreme Court of Texas, Caldwell Fletcher has handled over 1500 administrative and civil matters to final judgment. His practice emphasizes the following practice areas: insurance defense, premises liability, intermodal transportation, maritime and contractual/indemnity disputes. Mr. Fletcher’s clients include individuals, small businesses, and Fortune 100 Corporations.

Mr. Fletcher graduated from the University of the South in 1981 with a B.A. in English. He graduated from South Texas College of Law in 1987. During his time at South Texas, he was member of the Law Review and the Order of the Lytae.

Mr. Fletcher was Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law in 1995 by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He added an additional certification in Worker’s Compensation Law in 2005.

Mr. Fletcher is frequently retained as an expert witness in claims handling matters due to his experience and expertise in medical legal disputes between worker’s compensation carriers and group health insurance carriers. Mr. Fletcher’s subrogation practice includes the representation of health insurers, as well as casualty insurers and self insured businesses. Mr. Fletcher is a member of The National Association of Subrogation Professionals.

Mr. Fletcher supports The Houston Community through his involvement in the Alzheimer’s Association and the Strake Jesuit Dad’s Club.
